Berkshire's Trusted Pool Specialists
From the Royal Borough to the Thames Valley โ we design, build and maintain bespoke swimming pools and saunas for Berkshire homeowners who take their outdoor space seriously. Over 10 years of expert craftsmanship, across the whole county.

The Royal County Deserves a Pool Built to Match
Berkshire has long been one of England's most coveted counties โ and it shows in the quality of its properties. From the prestigious estates around Ascot and Windsor to riverside homes along the Thames at Cookham and Maidenhead, outdoor living here is taken seriously. A pool needs to match.
Berkshire also benefits from some of the most pool-friendly ground conditions in the south-east. The chalk and gravel soils across much of the county drain exceptionally well and shift very little โ meaning a more straightforward build, fewer surprises, and a pool that stays watertight for decades.

A sauna alongside your pool turns a great outdoor space into an exceptional one. We design and install traditional Finnish saunas and infrared cabins โ standalone structures, integrated into a pool house, or within an existing garden room. All engineered to the same standard as your pool.

EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) is our most popular construction method for Berkshire homeowners. It combines a faster build timeline with superior thermal insulation and excellent compatibility with the chalk and gravel soils found across much of the county โ meaning less disruption to your garden and a pool that's ready to swim in weeks, not months.

Cut Running Costs and Swim for Longer
A high-quality pool cover is the single most cost-effective upgrade you can make after the initial build. It retains heat, keeps the water clean, and makes your Berkshire pool genuinely usable from early spring to late autumn โ not just the brief British summer.

Straight answers to the questions Berkshire homeowners ask us most before committing to a new pool or refurbishment.
Do I need planning permission for a pool in Berkshire?
Most residential swimming pools in Berkshire are permitted development and don't require planning permission. However, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead operates its own planning framework, and Conservation Areas exist across many of the county's historic villages. Properties near the Thames, within flood zones, or in listed buildings may also face additional rules. We'll check your specific situation before any plans are drawn.
What are ground conditions like in Berkshire?
Berkshire has some of the most pool-friendly soils in the south-east. The chalk and Thames gravel of North Berkshire and the Thames Valley drain exceptionally well and remain very stable โ ideal for pool construction. Further south, Weald Clay becomes more prevalent and requires more careful drainage design. We carry out a site assessment before specifying materials or methods.
How long does a new pool take to build?
An EPS pool typically takes 4โ6 weeks from breaking ground to your first swim. Concrete builds take 10โ14 weeks. Both depend on site access, ground conditions, and the complexity of your design. We'll commit to a firm timeline before work starts โ and we hold to it.
Can you build near the Thames or in a flood-risk area?
Yes, and we do it regularly along the Berkshire Thames corridor at Cookham, Maidenhead, and Pangbourne. Riverside builds require careful drainage planning, run-off management, and occasionally liaison with the Environment Agency. We'll give you a realistic picture of what's involved and required during your consultation.
Can you refurbish an older or neglected pool?
Yes โ refurbishments are a significant part of our work. Outdated tiles, worn surfaces, ageing filtration, and failing heating are all things we see regularly in older Berkshire pools. We'll assess your pool honestly, tell you exactly what it needs, and give you options ranging from a targeted refresh to a full-scale transformation.
What does pool maintenance include throughout the year?
Our maintenance service covers water chemistry testing and dosing, filter backwashing and cleaning, equipment inspection and minor repairs, skimmer and basket clearing, and pool vacuuming. We also offer seasonal opening and closing packages for clients who prefer not to run their pool year-round. A written service report follows every visit.
