East Sussex's Pool Builders — Built to a Premium Standard
From the South Downs to the coast — we design, build and maintain bespoke swimming pools and saunas for East Sussex homeowners who expect the very best. Precision craftsmanship, zero compromise, over 10 years of experience.

A County of Contrasts. A Pool for Every Setting.
East Sussex is a county of striking variety — from the seafront properties of Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings to the rolling countryside of the High Weald and the chalk downland around Lewes. Every setting brings its own opportunities, and a pool needs to sit naturally within it — complementing the property and its surroundings, not sitting as an afterthought at the bottom of the garden.
We also understand East Sussex's planning complexity. The South Downs National Park, the High Weald AONB, Conservation Areas, and district-specific planning policies all require careful navigation. We've worked across the county long enough to know the rules — and how to work within them.

Pool Refurbishment
East Sussex has a large stock of established pools — many now overdue for modernisation, and some feeling the effects of the coastal climate. We handle everything from cosmetic updates — new tiles, resurfacing, modern lighting — to full structural overhauls, restoring tired pools to a standard that lifts the whole garden.

Ongoing Pool Maintenance
A pristine pool doesn't maintain itself — and coastal air and hard water make regular care all the more important. Our East Sussex maintenance service is built around precision: scheduled visits, detailed chemistry testing, equipment inspection, and a written report after every call. Your pool looks its best every day, not just after service day.

Sauna Installation
The natural companion to a premium pool. We design and install traditional Finnish saunas and infrared cabins as part of a complete outdoor wellness space — integrated with your pool house architecture or as a standalone garden building. One team, one coherent result.
Explore Saunas →Premium Performance, Faster Build — EPS Pool Construction
EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) is our most-specified construction method for East Sussex homeowners. The system delivers a high-quality, fully customisable pool in as little as 4 weeks — with exceptional insulation properties that reduce running costs year on year. On sensitive sites in the South Downs or High Weald, the lighter construction also minimises ground disruption where access is tight.
Premium Pool Features for East Sussex Homes
Whether your pool overlooks the sea or nestles into the Weald, we bring the same level of specification to it as you apply to every other part of your property — from the water feature to the smart controls.
Infinity & Overflow Edges
Create a breathtaking visual effect where the water meets the horizon — perfect for coastal plots with a sea view or hillside gardens in the High Weald.
Underwater LED Lighting
Programmable, colour-changing LED systems that transform your pool after dark. Zoned schemes can accent steps, walls, and the full pool floor independently.
Integrated Spa & Hot Tub
A spa built alongside your pool, sharing filtration but independently heated. Perfect for year-round use when the main pool is closed for the season.
Automatic Pool Covers
Touch-button covers retain heat, keep debris out, and provide a certified child-safety barrier. Ideal for exposed coastal gardens where wind-blown debris is a concern.
Pool Houses & Cabanas
We design and build the complete space — not just the pool. Pool houses with changing rooms, plant rooms, entertaining areas, and kitchen facilities.
Smart Pool Control
Manage heating, lighting, chemical dosing, and covers from your phone. Full automation is available across all systems we install.

Straightforward answers to the questions East Sussex homeowners ask us before committing to a new pool or refurbishment.
Do I need planning permission for a pool in East Sussex?
A standard in-ground garden pool is usually permitted development in East Sussex. However, the South Downs National Park and the High Weald AONB both cover large parts of the county, and Conservation Area listings and listed building status can all affect what's permissible. We'll check your specific situation — including your local district or borough's position — before any designs are proposed.
What are ground conditions like in East Sussex?
East Sussex geology is varied. The chalk of the South Downs around Lewes and Eastbourne is generally excellent for pool construction — free-draining and stable. Wealden Clay across the centre and north of the county behaves very differently and requires careful drainage specification, while coastal sites near Hastings and Bexhill can bring their own challenges. We carry out a proper site assessment before choosing your construction method.
What pool finishes are available?
We offer a wide range including mosaic glass tiles, polished plaster (marcite), exposed aggregate, coloured render, and full liner systems. For East Sussex clients who want a specific look — a particular shade of blue, a natural stone effect, or a fully tiled interior — we'll source it. The goal is a pool that looks exactly as you imagined it.
Can you manage the whole project from planning through to aftercare?
Yes — this is exactly how we work. One team, one point of contact, from the initial consultation through to ongoing maintenance. We don't subcontract the work that matters, which means we're accountable for the entire result. If something needs attention six months after handover, you call the same people who built it.
Can you add features to an existing pool — spa, lighting, cover?
Often yes. We regularly retrofit spa areas, LED lighting systems, automatic covers, and heating upgrades to existing pools. We'll assess what's structurally possible and give you honest advice on what makes sense versus what would require a more fundamental rebuild.
How long does a new pool build take in East Sussex?
An EPS pool typically takes 4–6 weeks from excavation to first swim. Concrete builds take 10–14 weeks. The right method depends on your site, soil conditions, and design brief. We'll recommend the best approach and give you a firm schedule before work starts.
