Is an indoor or basement pool feasible in London?
Yes. Indoor and below-ground installations are popular in London because they sidestep many of the external planning issues. We work with your structural engineer or architect and our own groundworks team to deliver a fully engineered indoor pool.
Do I need planning permission for a pool in London?
Most outdoor pools in residential rear gardens fall under permitted development and don't require full planning permission. However, conservation areas, Article 4 directions, listed buildings, and some borough-level restrictions can apply. We identify any planning requirements during our initial survey.
How much disruption should I expect in a London property?
We plan site access carefully before any work begins — including skip placement, concrete pump positioning, and daily schedule. EPS (expanded polystyrene) construction dramatically reduces the volume of soil removed compared with a traditional concrete build, cutting lorry movements and disruption time.
